Yard Logs LLC Service Agreement
By initiating service with Yard Logs LLC, you agree to the following terms and responsibilities.
1. Services
Yard Logs LLC provides recurring pet waste removal services on a scheduled basis. Service frequency and pricing are agreed upon at the time of signup.
An initial clean may be required prior to beginning recurring service depending on yard condition.
2. Billing and Recurring Payments
Yard Logs LLC provides ongoing recurring service. By enrolling in service and providing a payment method, the client authorizes Yard Logs LLC to charge the payment method on file on a recurring monthly basis for services scheduled for the upcoming month.
Billing occurs on the 1st of each month and covers services to be performed during that calendar month. Monthly billing reflects the average weekly service across the calendar year regardless of the number of calendar weeks in a given month. For example, weekly service is billed at a consistent monthly rate whether a month has 4 or 5 weeks.
Monthly charges are non-refundable except as required by law.
By providing payment information, the client represents and warrants that they are the authorized cardholder or account holder and have full authority to approve recurring transactions.
Recurring charges will continue automatically unless and until service is properly canceled in accordance with this agreement.
Failure to cancel service prior to the billing date does not relieve the client of responsibility for that billing cycle.
If service begins mid month, a prorated amount may be charged prior to the next regular billing date.
3. Payment Authorization and Disputes
The client agrees not to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute for properly authorized recurring charges under this agreement.
In the event of any billing concern, the client agrees to contact Yard Logs LLC directly to resolve the matter prior to initiating a dispute with their financial institution.
If a chargeback is initiated for services properly rendered or authorized, the client remains responsible for the outstanding balance, including any applicable processing or dispute fees permitted by law.
4. Client Responsibilities and Yard Access
Clients are responsible for providing safe and unobstructed access to the yard on scheduled service days. Gates must be unlocked and yards must be free of hazards that could interfere with service.
Clients must notify Yard Logs LLC of any changes in the number of pets using the yard.
Clients are responsible for notifying Yard Logs LLC of any hazards including but not limited to broken fencing, debris, concealed objects, or unsafe ground conditions.
If service cannot be completed due to lack of access, including locked gates, blocked areas, or unsafe conditions, the visit will be considered completed and the scheduled service fee will apply.
5. Pet Safety Policy
Pets may remain in the yard during service provided they are non aggressive and do not interfere with the technician’s ability to safely perform the service.
Yard Logs LLC reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if aggressive behavior or unsafe conditions are present.
If requested, clients agree to secure pets to ensure safe and efficient service.
6. Weather, Holidays, and Service Adjustments
The safety of our clients, pets, and team is a priority. Service may be rescheduled due to severe weather including lightning, heavy rain, snow, ice, extreme cold, or other unsafe conditions.
Yard Logs LLC may also adjust service schedules due to holidays, route optimization, illness, personal time off, or other operational needs.
If a scheduled service is adjusted, it may be rescheduled within the same week or completed on the next scheduled service day.
When service is performed following an adjusted schedule, the yard will be cleaned as part of the regular visit, even if additional waste has accumulated due to the extended interval.
In the rare event that weather or operational adjustments result in missed services spanning multiple weeks, Yard Logs LLC will work with the client to determine an appropriate resolution, which may include service credit or adjusted scheduling.
Monthly billing remains unchanged as pricing reflects the average weekly service across the calendar year.
7. Temporary Pauses
Clients may request a temporary pause of service. Pause requests must be received and confirmed by Yard Logs LLC prior to the next billing cycle to avoid charges.
Pause requests will be reviewed based on route scheduling and operational considerations.
Billing will not occur during an approved pause period.
Service will resume upon client request based on route availability.
Yard Logs LLC reserves the right to determine whether an initial clean is required upon resuming service before recurring service continues.
8. Cancellation
Either party may request termination of service at any time in accordance with the terms below.
Cancellation requests must be received and confirmed by Yard Logs LLC at least 24 hours prior to the next scheduled service. Cancellation may be requested in writing or by phone.
Cancellation will be effective at the end of the current billing cycle. Services will continue through the remainder of the paid month. No partial month refunds will be issued.
To avoid billing for the upcoming month, cancellation must be requested and confirmed before the 1st of the month.
9. Liability
Yard Logs LLC assumes no liability for pre existing lawn or property damage, hidden objects beneath grass or leaves, underground utilities or sprinkler systems, or damage resulting from normal service activities.
Yard Logs LLC is not responsible for pet illness or injury unless caused by proven negligence.
Yard Logs LLC shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages.
Clients agree to maintain safe yard conditions.
10. Fees and Promotions
Service fees and promotions are subject to change. In the event of a pricing change, clients will receive at least thirty days notice.
Promotional initial cleans are provided as a discount for new recurring service customers. If service is canceled within the first 30 days, the promotional value may be charged to the payment method on file in accordance with this agreement.
11. Communication
Yard Logs LLC will provide service updates via text message, phone call, and/or email. Clients are responsible for maintaining current contact information and ensuring Yard Logs LLC has accurate phone numbers and email addresses on file.
12. Service Guarantee
Yard Logs LLC is committed to quality service. If you are unsatisfied with a completed service, please contact us within 24 hours and we will return to address any concerns at no additional charge.
13. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from this agreement will be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be governed by the laws of the State of Indiana.
14. Updates to Terms
Yard Logs LLC reserves the right to update or modify this Service Agreement as needed. Clients will be provided at least thirty days notice of significant changes. Updated terms will include a revised Effective Date.
By continuing to use Yard Logs LLC services after receiving notice of updated terms, the client acknowledges and accepts the modified agreement. If a client does not agree to updated terms, they may cancel service in accordance with Section 8 prior to the effective date of the changes.
Updated terms will be provided via email, text message, or posted on the Yard Logs LLC website. It is the client’s responsibility to review updated terms when notified.
15. Operational Changes
Yard Logs LLC may make operational adjustments including but not limited to service routes, scheduling windows, service day assignments, communication methods, and minor policy updates without prior notice when such changes do not materially affect the client’s service frequency, monthly rate, or core service delivery.
Clients will be notified of operational changes when practical, but continued service constitutes acceptance of reasonable operational adjustments necessary for efficient business operations.
16. Agreement
By initiating service, both the client and Yard Logs LLC acknowledge and agree to the terms and responsibilities outlined above.
