This month’s Yard Logs Dog of the Month winner is Bernie Mack — an adorable 18-week-old Bernese Mountain Dog from Westfield! 🐶🏆
From the moment his photo was entered, Bernie Mack quickly stole everyone’s attention with his sweet face, giant puppy paws, and laid-back personality. Even at just 4.5 months old, he’s already full of personality and keeps his family laughing every day.
Bernie Mack loves chasing bunnies, running from birds (yes… he’s scared of them 😂), eating yellow dandelions, and squeezing under the fire pit to play hide and seek. When he gets excited and hears “Go Bernie go!” he takes off with zoomies as fast as he can before eventually flopping down like he made himself dizzy.
Like most puppies, Bernie Mack is also deep in his teething phase. His favorite toys are his stuffed cow and red Kong ball — although according to his family, pretty much anything he can chew on becomes his favorite toy 😅
One of the sweetest things about Bernie Mack is how he greets everyone when they come home. Megan says he likes to “hug your leg for dear life” to say welcome home ❤️
He may be calm and cuddly most of the time, but Bernie Mack definitely has a goofy side too. He’s obsessed with ear lobes and toes and apparently takes his job of making sure everyone’s toes are dry after a shower very seriously 😂🐾
